Happy Birthday Mrs Amanda Estes

Today is my wonderful wife's birthday. Today she is turning 27. She doesn't look a day over 21. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful wife and best friend. Thank you so much for the last couple of years. They have been some of the best times of my life. I can't wait to grow much older with you.

Fitting Time

Last Wednesday night it was time to get the boys fitted for the wedding. So we loaded up in the truck and headed to Men's Wearhouse in Mesquite.. Caleb and Cade were excited to go. Just about every day since I moved in with them Cade would ask me when we were going.

Just look at that face. Cade was laughing a bubba because the sleeves were too short.

Here are 25 random facts about me.

1. I own 22 pairs of shoes

2. I used to drive a pink truck ( actual color was metallic purple)

3. I never missed a day of school from 7th grade - 12th grade.

4. I once weighed 386 lbs ( As of 2/01/09 I weigh 338)

5. My favorite movie of all time is "Major League"

6. God gave me the woman of my dreams. (Amanda)

7. My favorite meal of all time is homemade Chicken Fried Steak, masted potatoes and dinner rolls with butter.

8. I have never taken a sick day from work in 10 years

9. I have shot a banded duck in Arkansas.

10. I consider myself a hunter but I have never shot a deer.

11. I designed two houses in high school.

12. I graduated #150 in my graduating class in high school. (That just makes me laugh)

13. I once fell out of my grandfathers boat one time when I was trying to cast around Rob. ( I lost my grandfather favorite pole.)

14. I wear a size 8 hat.

15. In the 6th grade I played the Violin for about 3 months.

16. I like a good chick flick every now and then.

17. In 11th grade I won a district wide house design contest.

18. I still like to play Lego's with my nephew Cade

19. Its hard for me to go somewhere without my phone.

One of my favorite seasons of the year............

Well it is almost time for one of my favorite seasons of the year. HUNTING SEASON!!!! A lot of people know that I love sports but they also know I love Duck Hunting. In the next month I will start waking up at around 5am on Saturdays to drive down to my friends place in Sulphur Springs. We will try to get our limit on every outing that we take. In the next few weeks I will check my inventory on shotgun shells and making sure all my camo fits. Below are a few photos from the past few years hunting trips.

Well Well Well...............

Well since Amanda has now picked out her bridesmaid dresses. http://amandasblessedlife.blogspot.com/2008/09/you-will-know.html I wanted to figure out which tux I was going to choose for my boys to wear as groomsmen. As you can see below I have picked a couple of options. Please tell me what you think of my selections.

I am not sure if this will go with my eyes.


Navy is my favorite color!!! Chicks dig the ruffles also.
I would choose this one but I dont think they would have a hat to fit my BIG HEAD.
HAHAHA. All I can do is laugh.
There is nothing I can say about this one. But I do like the shoes. This one reminds me of Dick Tracy
